Robert S. Hulett is a partner in the Firm and focuses his
practice primarily in the areas of business transactions,
real estate and civil litigation.
Mr. Hulett joined the firm in 1969 as an associate. During
his career with the firm, Mr. Hulett has concentrated his
practice in representing businesses, real estate companies,
and individuals in all aspects of both general and specific
business transactions. He has also been actively involved in litigation arising
from real estate transactions as well as business transactions. He has represented
numerous businesses, both those headquartered in Indiana and national businesses
with Indiana locations, connections or issues. Mr. Hulett has handled a broad
range of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, corporate formation,
secured transactions, buy-sell agreements, interstate pipeline
issues and construction contracts and litigation. Mr. Hulett
has appeared in state and federal courts on behalf of his
clients.
Mr. Hulett has been actively involved in numerous civic
activities. He has served as a lecturer and moderator for
the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum (Chair 2001
and 2004 Annual Real Estate Seminars), he is the past president
of the Rotary Club of Indianapolis, The Rotary Foundation of Indianapolis,
The Indianapolis Day Nursery Association and The Indiana Association of
Retarded Citizens. He was a founding board member of the
Indiana Federal Community Defenders, Inc. He has served
the Indianapolis Bar Association as a Vice President, Counsel
to the Board, and member of the Task Force on Judicial Selection.
He was appointed a panel member for the Federal District Court Merit Selection
Committee for the Southern District of Indiana. He is a Fellow of the Indianapolis
Bar Association as well as a Paul Harris Fellow.
