Mark S. Alderfer is a partner with the firm practicing
in the area of civil litigation. After graduating from
law school he worked for two years as a deputy prosecuting
attorney in Monroe County, Indiana. In 1986, Mr. Alderfer
entered private practice and later became a partner with
Young, Cochran & Reese. He joined Hackman Hulett & Cracraft,
LLP in 1993, where he specializes in civil litigation
with an emphasis in insurance coverage and defense, real
estate and business matters. He has spoken extensively
on the areas of insurance coverage, trial practice and
evidence.
Mr. Alderfer is listed by the Indiana Jury Verdict Reporter
as one of the most prolific trial attorneys in the State
of Indiana. Over his career, he has tried in excess of
80 jury trials. Mr. Alderfer also acts as an arbitrator.
He is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana State and
American Bar Associations, as well as the Defense Trial
Counsel of Indiana and the Defense Research Institute.
